Each year hundreds of volunteers put on the bash, making it one of Habitat for Humanities biggest fundraisers.

Each ticket costs 50 dollars, and those who came got to play games, have a meal and participate in auctions.

All of the money raised will help fund the building of a new home for those who can't pay the full cost.

"You know its not a handout, we reach out to people that qualify they actually have to put in several hundred hours of sweat equity in building their home and then the community helps them build a home."

At today's event many of the volunteers came from Goodfellow Air Force base as well as Angelo State University.
