Rainbow Trout Return To Concho River

After a few-year hiatus - Rainbow Trout are being stocked in the Concho River again.
San Angelo has been a member of the "Neighborhood Fishing Program" since 2004. But Texas Parks and Wildlife took a break from stocking while the bank restoration project was completed and levels restored.
This morning - more than 300 rainbow trout were introduced to the river between Oakes and Irving streets for public fishing.
There is a five fish limit per day for Concho River fishers
