More than 180 anglers made it out to OH Ivey to participate in the fifth annual Suddenlink open Tony Gibson memorial fishing tournament. TV show host Joe Thomas greeted all the competitors and awarded all of the prizes. Proceeds from the tournament will help h-o-s-a to serve families coping with terminal illness.

Joe Thomas - "Texas is historically great for bass fishing and even though o-h ivy has been low it is still putting out great bass, and so that whole twist connected with a great charity event, is what gets us here."

The past three years the tournament has proved to be hospice's single- largest annual fundraising event - raising a total of more than forty seven thousand dollars.
