Domestic Violence Awareness Month Kick Off

Government and community leaders in San Angelo joined the nation in ushering in Domestic Violence Awareness month.
ICG Bridges New Bridge Family Shelter led the charge Monday evening at the Visitor Center with an opening ceremony for Domestic Violence Awareness month. State Representative Drew Darby was joined by district and county attorneys, and law enforcement officials to speak out against domestic violence. On Friday, ICD Bridges will hold the Children's Balloon Release at 4:30PM at the Shelter's playground. Here one balloon for each child affected by domestic violence.
