First Female President of the Baptist General Convention of Texas?

A Texas church leader, who is a woman, is likely to become the first female president of the baptist general convention of Texas.
72-year-old Joy Fenner began as a church secretary -- and could later this month become the leader of the largest baptist state convention in the country.
She is endorsed by the group that is credited with resisting a conservative takeover of the convention.
The other large church convention in texas -- is the southern baptist convention.
