Members of the San Angelo community "stepped out" Tuesday night for the first ever San Angelo Development Forum. The event was held at the Cactus Hotel. The forum was a collaborative effort between the city's new Planning and Development Services Department, and other city entities to recognize the recent developments in San Angelo. Organizers also honored those businesses and individuals who have made a positive impact on the city. Eight development awards were handed out Monday night, of which the Three Sisters building on Chadbourne Street won adaptive re-use of the year, and the Bank of San Angelo on Knickerbocker took away architectural design of the year.
