The San Angelo Independent School District began holding class after the long summer break several weeks ago. Monday, some local parents had the opportunity to see "first-hand" how things are going on campus. Lake View High School and Bowie Elementary held open houses Monday night. The schools hoped to give parents an opportunity to meet the teachers, see the classrooms, and gain a better understanding of what goes on during a regular school day. Bonham Elementary will hold its open house September 25, beginning at 5:30 PM. Lamar Elementary will open its doors to the public on October 1, also beginning at 5:30 in the evening.
