A San Angelo woman is taken to the hospital after a shooting on the citys southwest side.
According to police, officers were called out to the Hunters Run apartments off Southwest Blvd at about 10:45 p.m. in response to a shooting. Reports say a woman had been standing in the parking lot when a truck drove up. The woman said she heard shots, and discovered she had been shot in the leg. She was taken to Shannon Medical Center where a small caliber round was removed from her leg. It is not known if the woman was the intended target. Police continue to investigate the shooting.
