Lions Celebrate Mexico's Independence

The Southside Lion's Club is inviting the public out to the Paseo de Santa Angela to celebrate Mexico's independence from spanish rule nearly 200 years ago. Thousands are expected to head out the Paseo this weekend for Diez y Seis de Septiembre festivities.  Partiers can expect live entertainment, delicious food and craft booths to fill the paseo until late Saturday night. Money raised from will also benefit the Lion's Club scholarship fund and eye sight campaign.
