County Commissioners advise Library Fund Members to seek money in other places

An idea for a federal matching grant for more than two million dollars in funding for the new Tom Green County library -- apparently is not such a good idea. At the Tom Green County commissioners meeting Tuesday -- an attorney for the county advised the library fund members to seek the federal grant money by forming an agreement with the city of San Angelo. In other county business, commissioners voted to lend the now retired county library book-mobile bus to the Christoval school district. It will be used as a temporary library while the school building is being renovated.
