SAISD Superintendent Dr. Carol Ann Bonds spent Monday evening at Central High School to unveil the new Gifted and Talented Enrichment Program.

This program teams up GT students in groups of 2 to 4 to conduct research on global issues such as the global water crisis.    More than 600 SAISD GT students will have the opportunity work with mentors from ASU, the University of Texas, the Smithsonian, and the American Museum of Natural History. The program will conclude in the spring with a competition of which the winner wins a spot at the International Youth Conference in New York, at the Museum of Natural History.
