Veribest Receives Life Saving Device

Veribest High School accepted a heart-felt donation, one that just might save a life.

Saint Jude Medical partnered with the UIL to donate an automatic external defibrillator to Veribest High School, along with 48 other schools in the Lone Star State. The AED is a portable electronic device that can immediately diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmia's on the spot by re-establishing a regular heartbeat. The AED are usually donated to rural schools that do not have the budget to purchase the units.
