YMCA Skateboard Clinic

By: KLST News
Updated: August 24, 2007
All week long -- San Angelo skateboarders have been improving their skills -- learning tricks like the "drop-in" at the YMCA skateboard clinic. Students from kindergarten through middle school in the clinic all received new skateboards. They practiced at the new skateboard park downtown along the Concho river. Organizers say they were surprised to see that so many students were interested. "They were able to teach kids trick and help them improve their skills." Managers at the YMCA are already planning the next skateboarding clinic for students during spring break next year.
