Three car collision

A three-car collision during the lunch hour caused traffic to back up just east of the road construction area on Sherwood way Friday. A little before one -- police say a man driving east on Sherwood Way turned left onto Westwood and collided in the intersection with a woman driving an S-U-V west on Sherwood Way. A third car stopped at a stop sign on Westwood was also involved. The woman driving that car went to Community Medical Center for observation. The drivers in the other two vehicles did not appear to be injured. Police could issue a citation to the man turning left -- for failing to yield right of way.
