Salvation Army Prepares For Dean

hurricane2007-08-20-1187655052.jpgAs Hurricane Dean takes aim for the Gulf of Mexico, and possibly the Texas Gulf Coast, workers with the San Angelo Salvation Army are rolling up their sleeves. Workers with the San Angelo Salvation Army, along with other volunteers are heading toward the hurricane evacuation routes. Mobile canteens are being set up, they will serve meals to the Texas Military and TXDOT crews working at the re-fueling points along evacuation routes. After the evacuation is complete and Dean touches down, the canteens will be re-deployed as needed in the effected areas of Texas.
