San Angelo bridge eligible for federal funds

A San Angelo bridge is on a list just issued by the Texas department of transportation that would designate it for federal funding for repairs. The historic Lone Wolf bridge on East Avenue K is identified as "structurally deficient". That is a term used by the federal highway administration to designate bridges where federal grants could be used for repairs -- engineers stress that the designation does not mean that the bridge is unsafe.
