Tax Free Holiday

The tax free weekend in Texas is underway tonight. From now until Sunday -- people in San Angelo and across the state of Texas can shop in Texas stores for clothing, footwear....even backpacks without paying state sales taxes. The tax free holiday applies to any items with a price under 100 dollars. "As long as each item is individually less than 100 dollars by itself is tax free. So it includes almost everything that a kid needs." To view a complete list of the tax free items sold in stores -- you can go to the website at window.state.tx.us.
