The first accident happened just after 5:30pm on College Hills and the loop frontage road. Officer Adam Scott said a blue Nissan Altima was stopped at a red light, when the driver of a red Ford f-150 approached the car on the frontage road and was traveling too fast to stop. The F-150 collided with the Altima, lost a front wheel and went into the intersection on College Hills.

The driver of the Altima was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the Ford truck was cited for failure to control speed.

The second accident happened just before 6pm on North Bryant and 33rd street. Officer Richard Dahl said a white Corsica was traveling east on 33rd street when the driver failed to yield the right of way to a blue Oldsmobile causing a collision. Both drivers were transported to Shannon Medical Center with unknown injuries. Dahl said no citations were issued at the scene.
