knicky2007-08-04-1186272459.jpgThe entire community of Knickerbocker came out for a good old-fashioned cook-out. The Knickerbocker community held the annual 'knicky picky' chili and brisket cookoff. The event was first held more than 20 years ago when the community wanted to raise money to renovate the old school house. The cook-off now serves as a reunion of sorts for the people living in Knickcerbocker. Keeping with tradition, money raised from the event will go to help maintain the community center in Knickerbocker.
