The camp is a chance for children to learn about theatre. They learn the production side as well as acting techniques. Then the children finished the camp with a presentation of the musical "The Music Man" at Angelo State University.

Camp Director Angela Hill said the children really enjoyed themselves.

Hill said, "Because it brings out their self-confidence and their self-esteem. Even if they dont wanna be an actor for the rest of their life or go on stage. If they have a book report to do or a science project, anything that can help them grow as a wonderful child, that is what this is about."

The young actors performed the play several times throughout the weekend.
