Little Elm Woman Dies in Accident

ax2007-07-28-1185682363.jpgAn accident near Ballinger Saturday morning claimed the life of a Little Elm woman.

Trooper Sallis said 16-year-old Redbekah Goodner was driving with her sister when she fell asleep and drove into a ditch on the south side of the road. Goodner then overcorrected and the car went back on the road and into a ditch on the opposite side of the road. The car traveled through a fence, flipped and stopped upright in a field. The passenger, 19-year-old Sarah Goodner was transported by Air Med to Shannon Medical Center. She was pronounced dead upon arrival. No word on the injuries to the 16-year-old driver.
