It made for a lot of fun on Cinco de Mayo and it was so popular they brought it back. All American Chevrolet hosted its Last Man Standing contest Saturday afternoon. The contest is simple. The person who has their hands on the featured vehicle last wins the car. On May 5th, a Mitsubishi Mirage was given to a San Angelo man who kept one hand on the vehicle for 30 hours. This time around it's a little different. First the car is a 1998 Honda accord, you have to have both hands on the car, and you get three ten minute breaks.
Mike O'Connor, General Sales Manager, said, "You know the last time we did it, we had a great time. It's not that we were interested in new rules, we're just trying to make it a little more difficult. Last time it went 30 hours. We were not expecting it to last 30 hours so this time we're thinking maybe with both hands on the car it might go a little bit faster."
There were a lot of dedicated people out there wanting a free car. We'll try to bring you the winner when the contest is complete.
