Chili Cook-off

The Concho Valley chili pod held a cook off in Water Valley Saturday. The chili pod and the volunteer services council for the San Angelo State School partnered up for the cook-off to raise money for the state school. Groups of cooks gathered at Harper Park to serve up their best chili, chicken and beans. Currently the state school is trying to up date current programs and add equipment to several other departments. The Concho Valley chili pod is a group of West Texas cooks who hold benefit chili cook-offs for different charities.
