A Concho Valley Teenager is sent to the hospital after an atv accident Saturday evening. According to authorities an 18-year-old male was riding an atv at Twin Buttes when he crashed the vehicle into a tree shortly after seven Saturday evening. Authorities say the teenager was going too fast and lost control of the vehicle. The teenager was not wearing a helmet. The teenager sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Shannon Medical Center for observation. Lake and park police highly recommend taking a safety course before riding such vehicles.
