Six new San Angelo police officers are now officially members of the force.
Friday afternoon, chief Tim Vasquez swore in the six new officers who have completed a 20-week academy, orientation and state exam.
Even though the six men took their oaths Friday -- theyll be officially "probationary" officers for the next three months.
For the next 12-weeks -- the probationary officers will train in the field during shifts with other experienced officers.
