New Police Officers Sworn In

Six new San Angelo police officers are now officially members of the force. Friday afternoon, chief Tim Vasquez swore in the six new officers who have completed a 20-week academy, orientation and state exam. Even though the six men took their oaths Friday -- theyll be officially "probationary" officers for the next three months. For the next 12-weeks -- the probationary officers will train in the field during shifts with other experienced officers.
