There was no age limit Tuesday, as hundreds of old and young San Angeloans begun celebrating the birth of Our Country with two celebrations that took place that both shared the same purpose.....freedom

No matter what the age of the American, either young or old, they all gathered for one purpose.
“Happy Birthday America!” Southwest Children’s Academy student, John Espinoza says.
“America’s born,” Southwest Children’s Academy student, Angel Garvin says.
One day before America’s Declaration of Independence which occurred 231 years ago, San Angeloans from the Southwest Children’s Academy 16th Annual Kid’s Parade and Program to the Baptist Memorial Center’s Patriotic Parade for seniors all celebrated their right as an American.
“It’s for being nice, I like everyone being nice,” says 5 year old Titus Wright.
Betty Matthews a Baptist Memorial Parade viewer says,  “To me its freedom and our Country it means so much to me.”
And these patriots know that without the efforts of thousands of veterans and current military they wouldn’t be able to take part in this celebration.
“I’ve seen several that don’t have the privilege that we do,” Veteran and Baptist Memorial Resident Norbille Conner says. “We just really need to take time and think of all the things and blessings that we have,” Matthews says.
“Thank You,” Wright says.
“Thank You,” Espinoza says.
“God Bless the USA,” Conner says.
