Las Esperanza Clinic received just over 13 thousand dollars from AEP.
The check is from a program of AEP's Energy Efficiency Improvement Plan for not- for- profit agencies.
The money will be used to purchase new high efficiency air conditioning systems for the health clinic. The objective of the program is to help reduce the energy costs of agencies that serve individuals who fall below the 200 percent federal poverty guideline.
