At the North Angelo Branch Library, books were given away to children after they got a lesson in reading...and pigs.
The North Angelo Branch Library hosted a reading day for children. It's to teach the importance of reading, even in the Summer.
The books read by the librarian on Thursday were all about pigs and after the reading lesson a real live pig took the stage thanks to local 5th grade teacher, Todd Nichols, who brought his pig, named Lucky, to the library.
