More than two dozen San Angelo "business leaders" had to collect bond of 13-hundred dollars each....in so-called "bail dollars" for the annual "M-D-A lock-up for Jerry's Kids".
I was at work today and one of the San Angelo police officers come by picked me up and sent me here and said post bond. Says Leon Langley, MDA Jailbird.
Langely was among more than 60 others hauled off to THE Muscular Dystrophy Association, MDA lock up at Texas Roadhouse Thursday.
Once Im here, I just call names and numbers and uh the ones that paid me I marked them off, and the ones I bill, I got their names and addresses so all I have to do is fill out the slip, says Langley.
Each person picked is process with a mug shot and then has to report to the judge.
