San Angelo Student Going to College in England

Cayddrick Ballards life is about to undergo some big changes. He just graduated from Central high school, and like many people at this stage in life hes planning to continue his education. But when Cayddrick leaves for college this fall, it wont just be to another city or even another state. This is Balliol college, part of the Oxford university system in England, and Cayddricks destination this fall. Cayddrick ballard -- Cayddrick is part of an elite group of students from around the world who will be attending oxford university on the fulbright scholarship, all expenses paid. Cayddrick -- room, board, tuition, etc. Cayddrick knew from middle school on that he was interested in science. Cayddrick -- He plans to become a cardio-thoracic surgeon. Heart disease affected his family, and he wants to make a difference for in the lives of others. Cayddrick -- This week cayddrick dropped by central high school for a visit with his high school principal. Dr. Coleman -- Cayddrick admits hes a little nervous...But hes excited too, about an opportunity offered to only a handful of students worldwide. Joel fox, K-L-S-Tt news.
