A 24 year old man is in jail tonight charged in the fire that destroyed a downtown warehouse early Thursday. Fire investigators say the fire started at the corner of the Lone Star Moving warehouse on 4th street Wednesday evening. Firefighters responded to a call for a grass fire at the location.
A witness told investigators he saw a homeless man smoking a cigarette near the location at that time. Investigators say the man bragged at a nearby homeless shelter about starting the fire. Tonight Cody Michael Dunn was arrested at the Salvation Army and booked into jail on a felony criminal mischief charge.
