San Angelo, TX--The Rambelles left the ASU softball complex feeling a little salty about the way they played at the George McCorkle Classic but they still were able to keep things totally in perspective.

"It's not like any other sport where you have to wait another week to bounce back and get your momentum back, with softball if you lose the first game, you've got another game right after that so you bounce back and get your momentum back," said Senior outfielder Lauren Smith.

They got their momentum back in a big way sweeping Texas A&M International outscoring them 23-2, run production like that will make ASU virtually unbeatable.

"We definitely took more pitches, and saw the ball more, as Coach tells us everyday the more pitches we see the more comfortable we feel at the plate, so we're more likely to get up there and stroke it like we have been doing," said Junior outfielder Luz' Ce Baca.

"Going to play international and getting our confidence back really helped winning those two games," added Lauren Smith.

As the Rambelles set up for a final push before conference, Head Coach Travis Scott says it'll be a good time for them to dig in and get some wins.

"We've got a stretch of games coming up in which we can really get on a roll some teams that are struggling a little bit so far so we need to take advantage of that," Travis Scott explained.

A rematch with Texas A&M International this weekend will be a good way for them to start a new winning streak. The doubleheader will start at 1PM Saturday afternoon.
