San Angelo May Elections Ballot

With time running out for people to file in the May San Angelo city elections - we're beginning to get a good look at who will be on the ballot for the five city council seats open - and the mayoral race.
  In district one - that current councilman Paul Alexander left open when he filed a run for mayor - Trinidad Aguirre, Robert Bankster, Bill Richardson and Rodney Fleming have filed.
      Joseph Grimes, Jim Turner and Marty Self are on the ballot in district two - which is up for regular re-election.
     District four - also up for regular re-election - Don Vardeman and Sally Ayana have both began a campaign for city council.
    District five is left open when current councilman Kendall Hirschfeld filed for the mayor's race - Barbara Pratt , David McBride and HR Wardlaw have filed to run. And in distict six - no one has yet filed to run against Charlotte Farmer.
     Dwain Morrison - of single member district two has also filed to run against Alexander and Hirschfeld in the mayor's race. Questions can be directed to the city clerk's office.
