Updated: February 25, 2013

It Was A Big Night For Hollwood As Movies Were Celebrated And It Seemed This Year Even Music Was A Highlight Of The Show. Seth Mcfarlene The Creator Of The Television Show Family Guy And The Recent Comedy Ted Was Host Of This Years Ceremony. Early Reviews Of His Hosting Were Mixed If You Were Watching The Chatter On Twitter.

Overall Seth Mcfarlene Never Really Got Into His Groove As The Show Seemed Off Balance With High Points And Some Low Points. It Seemed The Show Was Suffering From An Indentity Crisis As It Didnt Know If It Wanted To Be The Oscars Or The Tony's.

There Were Appearances By William Shatner, Sally Field And A Dancing Channing Tatum In The Opening Minutes Of The Show. Some Buzzworthy Points Of The Show Included A Bond Tribute With A Performance Of The Theme Goldfinger Sung By Dame Shirley Bassey. Adele Also Made A Highly Anticipated Apperance Signing The Oscar Nominated Song Skyfall From The Most Recent Bond Film. As This Years Oscars Leaned Heavily On The Musical There Were Performances From The Cast Of Les Miserables While Cathrine Zeta Jones Performed Her Rendition Of All That Jazz From Chicago And Jennifer Hudson Performed A Selection From Dream Girls. Even Barbara Streisand Made An Appearance At This Years Show Performing The Song The Way We Were.

Aside From All The Entertainment and Music They Did Manage To Squeeze In A Few Awards And Overall There Were Not Any Big Suprises Except That of The First Lady Michelle Obama Annoucning The Best Picture Winner.
