ASU Women's Basketball team is headed to the post-season and maybe with the most confidence they've had all season. KSAN's Jonathan Thomas is in the studio with more on the 'Belles.

Randy, the Belles have definitely turned a corner lately winning 3 in a row highlighted by the upset of then-first place Midwestern State. Head Coach Sally Brooks says the turnaround is due to a more relaxed, mentally secure team.

Sally Brooks-"They're just more confident in what they're trying to do and not pressing so much I think, they're finally understanding and looking for the right things and I think it helped us a few weeks ago when I moved Haylee to the point guard and put Karli in the lineup, we definitely could see that's the right decision but it still takes time, now we're just going to stay focused on our goal and keep trying to get better there's always room for improvement every win every time we play a little better it's definitely a confidence booster."

On Saturday the Belles will play Texas Woman's, a team that beat the Belles in January in arguably the worst game the Belles have played during their conference schedule, things should be different this time around considering the Belles are not only better but Texas Woman's is 1-10 at home.

Randy- When looking at the Lone Star Conference standings, the 'Belles are in 6th. More importantly they've secured one of 8 spots in the post-season tournament in early March. The challenge now is to continue to improve to make that trip to the tournament worth it.
