Four-legged Friends to Deliver Flowers

By Aaryn Valenzuela

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and this year you can have your flowers delivered by a Concho Valley Paws Representative, and a rescue animal.

"Our arrangements range from 25 to 65 dollars, they are designed by a master florist, and your flowers will be delivered to you on Valentine's Day by a representative of paws and a rescued animal," says Kelcie Hall, a Concho Valley Paws Representative.

She says people can purchase everything from a single rose to a spring assortment in a coffee cup.

"Ours range from one flower to a spring assortment in a coffee cup to a dozen, and half dozen roses."

They'll take orders up until the day of Valentine's Day, but she encourage people to order early because supplies are limited.

All the money raised goes to helping abandoned animals in San Angelo, and surrounding areas

"We have some animals that come in that are extremely malnourished, their hair is very messy and its really hard to see their precious little eyes so we get them all cleaned up, and we get them healthy and get them into foster care so they can work on little things, potty training, we can evaluate if they are good with animals, children, other pets, and it just makes for a better adoptable pet."

She says last year concho valley paws rescued about 500 animals
