District 4 City Council Seat Vacant

The district four city council seat will remain unfilled -- for now.
It became vacant when Fredd Adams resigned.
City council members gathered for a special meeting to discuss appointing someone to fill the seat -- but did not take a vote.
Mayor Alvin New said he would not approve an appointment -- and thinks voters should be the ones to fill the vacancy during the May 11th election. So far -- no one has filed for that race.
