For almost 20 years now,  San Angelo's Trend Furniture Owners have sponsored the "Miracle on Wellington Street" Project. Today Kristie and Russell Reed delivered furniture to the Rodriguez family. San Angelo Resident Gail Rodriguez was emotional as workers brought in new furniture for her and her family.

"A lot of crying because its a blessing that we did receive that, " says Gail Rodriguez.

Its been a tough year for the family. Gail says they had to  move out of their home temporarily because of flooding, and they lost most of their furniture.

"We had to start over basically with everything, we had either handed down or borrowed just because our kids needed things, and you know they don't understand because they are little," she says.

Gail's mother-in-law actually submitted the letter. She says even though they've had some tough times--they're always helping others.

"The fact that they never complain, and they just open their door to these families, its just time that someone do something nice for them," Barbara Leyva said.

Kristie and Russell Reed started the project nearly 20 years ago, and says it continues to be a blessing.

"Its a blessing I think more for us then sometimes for them, it is so nice to see someone that they are not expecting it, and that hear something that they never saw coming, and its going to improve their conditions, and they are thrilled."

This year they've received more letters than ever, and because of that, plan to deliver furniture to another family in the coming weeks.

"We have been blessed this year, and because of that, in a few weeks, you will find us at another location, were gonna have another winner on Miracle On Wellington, so in a few weeks, we will be knocking on another door."
