Car Accident Around Noon

Traffic was halted off the loop - just before the lunch hour rush - due to a two car accident.
Police on scene tell us a Chevy Silverado was turning onto Glenna Street - from Houston Harte's frontage road - when a witness says a dodge pick up truck ran a light - striking the Chevy in it's front passenger side. No injuries were reported - but the driver of the dodge was issued a citation for disregarding a traffic signal. Traffic was blocked to parts of Glenna Street and both the exit and entrance ramp of Houston Harte for a time while crews worked the scene
