San Angelo, Texas--The Concho Valley Tennis Association held a event at the Glenn Tennis Courts Sunday afternoon to celebrate the groups growth in the year of 2012, and to kickoff a new season in 2013. League Coordinator Courtney Nagel estimates membership in the CVTA has grown about twenty percent since last year.

"Tennis is a fun sport," she said. "It's a lifelong sport, people of all ages can play and the league is designed for people 18 and up all the way to 75 and up so there's all sorts of leagues for everybody so that allows all sorts of people to be able to play."

Nagel says 44 players participated in the event.
