Sherwood Way Car Accident

A woman was taken to an area hospital after a multiple car pile up in front of Wal-Mart.

Police on scene say traffic was congested on Sherwood way just after four o'clock, when a woman driving eastbound in a Lexus collided with a ford truck stopped in front of her. In turn, that truck collided with a mini-van. Police say the driver of the Lexus was taken to a hospital and cited for failure to control speed. East bound traffic was blocked on Sherwood way - as crews worked to clear the scene.
