For San Angelo pilot Bert Bruton flying comes second nature to him. He has been around planes and sitting at the cockpit since age nine and now he has been recognized with flying for fifty years. He was awarded a plaque that is one of the most prestigious awards in the federal aviation community - and basically means he has been helping promote and advance aviation transportation.
Within his fifty years he has made a living out of flying - by being a flight instructor to a crop duster.
