Police Investigating Traffic Stop

Police are still investigating a traffic stop that included a driver swallowing what police say was a controlled substance. Officers initiated a traffic stop on North Chadbourne for a driver in a 1991 Chevrolet pickup and followed him into a parking lot near the Park Motel this morning.
    As they were attempting to take the 39-year-old driver into custody -- there was a struggle -- police say the man threw what they believe was a controlled substance on the ground -- fought with officers -- then picked it up and put it into his mouth. Officers then noticed the man was having trouble breathing
