First Report On Midland Train Accident

The first report on the "Hunt for Heroes"  train accident in Midland was released today in Washington.
 It indicates the train struck the semi-tractor-rig carrying 24 passengers om the "Hunt For Heroes" Float in the right rear -- carrying it 30 feet before it hit a sheriff's office vehicle in Midland last month.  Four veterans died.  Five people were seriously injured and all the "Hunt For Heroes" events in San Angelo were cancelled.
   The 50-year-old driver of the truck pulling the float has not yet been interviewed by investigators.
   The train -- with 84 loaded cars was going from Los Angeles to Atlanta and traveled four-thousand feet before stopping after the 35-year-old engineer applied the brakes
