Police are investigating a deadly late night collision. They're investigating whether alcohol was a contributing factor.
Today police returned to the 31-hundred block of the Houston Harte Frontage Road where the collision occurred about eleven last night. Police say one vehicle traveling east on the Frontage Road at Glenna was going at a high rate of speed. That vehicle collided with another vehicle exiting a driveway. All occupants of both vehicles were taken to ShannonMedicalCenter. One of the passengers was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. A mandatory blood draw was performed on the driver of the vehicle eastbound on the frontage road -- that driver was life-flighted to a Dallas area hospital. As of tonight no charges have been filed.
