Today is one of the busiest travel days of the year for Texas roadways. Experts say on average many families will travel about 50 miles to grandmother's house for Thanksgiving this year. And even if you do get away later than you expected don't rush more state troopers and other officers will be out on patrol. Last year state troopers issued 75-hundred traffic citations for speeding over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
