Sock Hop At Ft. Concho Elementary

Children flipped their calendars back to the 1950s today.
Poodle skirts and vinyl records were the theme at Fort Concho Elementary. The annual sock hop has been inviting parents to join their kids' for an afternoon jive session for more than ten years.
Principal Barton says the sock hop has many benefits - encouraging social communication away from today's electronics - as well as dancing - being active and spending some quality time with parents
