Stolen Car Found In Concho River

A vehicle that was reported stolen almost a year ago was recovered from the Concho River last night. Emergency crews - assisted by home motors personell - worked to pull a 2009 Dodge Avenger from the river near Bell Street and South Concho Drive.
Police say the vehicle was unoccupied - and had been reported stolen in December of 2011 from Lithia Autoplex. It appeared the vehicle had been in the river for some time - as it was covered in debris and moss.
