11 Year Old Hit By Car

An 11-year-old San Angelo school student was hit by a car this morning.
Police say the girl crossed the street in front of an on-coming car. Police were called to Roosevelt Street near Buchanan
This morning on the east side of the city. Officers say the child was crossing the street to get to a school bus and failed to yield the right of way.
A 32-year-old woman and two children in the vehicle were not injured. Police say the child suffered ''non-incapacitating'' injuries and went to Shannon Medical Center. No citations were issued.
