National Champion!!!!

lakey2007-05-25-1180131560.jpgAngelo State will be bringing home atleast one National Championship from the Outdoor Track and Field Championships in North Carolina, as Sophomore Adree has won the Hammer Throw. Adree had previously set the school record for longest throw earlier this year, and she broke that record by 11 feet at the National meet. Her new record throw is 184' 04".

The Rambelles have 12 participants in the national meet, while the Rams have 4. The championships being hosted by Johnson Smith University will continue through Saturday Night. For complete day-by-day results log on to www.angelosports.com.
